IDP Delegation Attending the 9th National Seminar on Urban Underground Space Engineering Construction

From October 19 to 21, 2018, the Ninth National University urban underground space engineering professional construction seminar and the third National University urban underground space professional young teacher lecture competition and college student model design competition were held in Nanhua University. Li Ping, assistant dean of the School of Geological Engineering of IDP, and teachers and students of urban underground space engineering major participated in the group. More than 500 teachers and students from 61 universities, including Shandong University, Central South University, and IDP, attended the seminar.

After careful preparation and fierce competition, the "Rock Mechanics" course given by Doc. Su zhandong won the first prize in this lecture competition; the two competition teams guided by Mr. Li Xiaobo and Zhang Yudong won the second prize and the third prize respectively.

At the seminar of specialty construction, the teachers of our delegation had a in-depth discussion with the representatives of other colleges and universities on the training objectives, training programs, curriculum system construction, teaching material planning and employment situation of urban underground space engineering.

Through participating in the young teachers' lecture competition and college students' model design competition, the comprehensive ability and spiritual outlook of teachers and students of IDP are impressive.
