Vice President Guo Xun Leading a Delegation to Visit the Institute of Computing Technology of China Academy of Railway Sciences.

On June 5, Guo Xun, vice president of IDP, Cai Xiaoguang, director of Academic Research Office, Sun Zhiguo, vice dean of Civil Engineering School and Li Ping, vice dean of Geological Engineering School, visited the Institute of Computing Technology of China Academy of Railway Sciences.

Wang Wanqi, deputy director of the Institute of Electronic Computing Technology, introduced the development history and business scope of China Academy of Railway, and showed the recent achievements of Sichuan-Tibet Railway electronic sand table and railway engineering information management platform. Guo Xun introduced the basic situation, talent training objectives, scientific research direction and social service achievements of IDP. Both sides agreed that in-depth cooperation should be carried out in such aspects as building structure monitoring and testing, steel structure nondestructive testing, and geological disaster prevention and control.
