On the morning of October 16, 2018, Zhuoligtu, deputy director of Inner Mongolia Seismological Bureau, and Han Xiaoming, a senior engineer, and his party visited the School of Electronic Science and Control Engineering of IDP to investigate the research and development of seismic instruments. Jia Qijie, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Electronic Science and Control Engineering, Yao Zhenjing, assistant dean, and full-time teachers from the Institute of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Equipment and the teaching and research section of measurement and control technology and instrument participated in the research activities.
The research activities consisted of two parts: forum and field visit. At the forum, Yao Zhenjing introduced the basic situation and development plan of the School of Electronic Science and Control Engineering in terms of personnel training, education and teaching, discipline research, industry service, etc., and focused on the work and achievements of the institute in seismic instrument research and development in recent two years. Zhuo ligtu, deputy director of the Institute, had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the college teachers on the design, development, operation and maintenance of seismic instruments, earthquake monitoring and prediction, and development of precursory instruments. After the forum, deputy director Zhuoligtu and his party visited the PCB, SMT, disaster prevention and mitigation equipment research laboratory and metalworking base of the School of Electronic Science and Control Engineering.
The investigation and exchange deepened the mutual understanding between our school and the Seismological Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and laid a foundation for further cooperation in the future.
