Chaoyang District Seismological Bureau of Beijing Municipality Visiting IDP

On the afternoon of November 14, 2018, Gao Zhiyong, director of the Seismological Bureau of Chaoyang District, Beijing, and his party visited the School of Economics and Management of IDP. Chen Guang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of IDP, Liu Jiaqi, director of the School Office, Yuan Qinglu, assistant dean of the School of Economics and Management, Xie Changwang, secretary of the General Party Branch, Prof. Wang Huiyan, discipline leader, and Jiao Heyan, secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Emergency Management, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Guangzhi gave a welcome speech and introduced the basic situation of IDP from the aspects of historical evolution, mission, construction and development, achievements and development strategy. Yuan Qinglu introduced the general situation of School of Economics and Management, Wang Huiyan reported the preparation, implementation key points and recent project achievements of earthquake emergency plans of governments at all levels in Beijing. He also introduced the project of earthquake emergency plan preparation for streets (townships) and communities in Chaoyang District, Beijing.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the telemetry seismic network, neotectonic geochronology laboratory, earthquake prediction laboratory, active fault detection laboratory and disaster simulation laboratory of the School of Earth Science. Gao Zhiyong said that Chaoyang District Seismological Bureau of Beijing Municipality would continue to have extensively and deeply cooperation with IDP.
