On April 12, 2019, Chen Guang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of IDP, led a team to study in the Communication University of China. Relevant personnel from the office of the Party Committee (School Office), the Organization Department of the Party Committee, the Office of the Commission for Discipline Inspection (Audit and Supervision Department), and the School of Culture and Communication participated in the investigation.
At the seminar, Wang Daping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of CUC, introduced the historical evolution, basic situation of construction and development, discipline and professional characteristics of CUC. Chen Guang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and thoughtful arrangement of CUC, and introduced to the other party the basic situation of the school history, discipline construction, scientific research and teaching staff of the IDP. He hoped to learn from the good experience and good practices of CUC in various aspects through investigation and study, and establish a learning, communication and cooperation mechanism with CUC, offer mutual support and develop together. At the meeting, the Organization Department of the Party Committee of CUC, the Office of the Discipline Inspection Commission, the Audit Office and the School of Advertising introduced the relevant work respectively.
After the meeting, Chen Guang had an in-depth discussion with the leaders of the Office of Discipline Inspection Commission and the Audit Office of CUC on the difficult issues in the inspection and supervision of discipline enforcement. Other personnel participating in the survey conducted counterpart investigations and in-depth discussions on Party building, cadre management, discipline inspection, supervision and audit, school inspection and other work, as well as student management, curriculum research and development, teacher training, research work, teaching team construction, and professional personnel training. The school of Culture and Communication and the School of Advertising, CUC have reached a preliminary intention to further strengthen communication and cooperation between the two sides.
The participants also visited the Advertising Museum of CUC.
